maybe do some research before you act like an expert.
this is a capable vehicle. noteably more durable than a land rover and DEFINATELY more durable than an H2 or H3.
but thats besides the point. this vehicle is meant to compete with FJ cruisers, Xterras, and other cheap but durable, actually off roadable SUVS.
compare it to those.

that fact that it outwheels hummers and land rovers (excluding of course defenders and the original HUMMVEE) is just a bonus
and land rover defenders are more fragile than you'd think. all this being said, this generation of wranlers has two huge drawbacks. one being the weak engine. the other being leaky tops. and WAY overpriced in the US!

I bet he can't remove the roof on his H3. I bet it's a lot harder and more expensive for him to find custom parts for his H3. I bet his vision is a lot more blocked in his H3.
I'm not saying the H3 sucks and the Wrangler is better but I have driven both and overall I like the Wrangler a bit more (even though both are pretty sweet rides). Like all vehicles it comes down to personal perference and individual needs.

A center diff is a transfer case so when someone said that they are locking the center diff they are engaging four wheel drive. In a differential when you turn one wheel spins faster then the other (in essence why you have a differential) but when you engage a locking differential both wheels on that axle are forced to spin at the same speed. But on dry pavement this can cause wheel hop and possible damage to the vehicle. I also own a jeep Rubicon and love it.

I love 4x4 trucks, specially jeep wranglers, but in my opinion I rather like the ones from 2006 and back than the new ones from 2007. I feel that they've lost their "spirit". That's what I feel. I had a 1992 sport wrangler and I wouldn't change it for a 2007. I might be crazy but I don't like them.
